Employment Type: Union- Full Time Job Description: The General Laborer will assemble boxes, package products, relieve Mold Press Operators for breaks, operate the Floor Sweeper, and complete all production paperwork properly. They must also be able to wear PPE as required and meet the minimum production and quality requirement of each job title that they perform. Required Skills, knowledge, abilities: • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Capable of standing and walking on hard surfaces up to eight hours per day • Must be able to tolerate conditions of elevated temperature, dust, and draft • High school diploma or equivalent • 1-2 years related experience • Must be at least 18 years old • Achieve a score of 100% on written Briquette System Operator Review and Mold Press Operator Review New York Air Brake is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to excellence through diversity: EOE/AA/M/F/D/V
