I am still here. I still want to do the blues. Can't seem to find a bass player and drummer interested. So I have the Blues some more. I am a barnstorming, rabble rousing, juke-joint kind of bluesman. I don't like purists and I play loud. Buddy Guy loud. I am deep into BB. Freddy and Albert, too. Howlin Wolf. Muddy. Classic gut bucket blues. But I learned the Blues originally from the London scene of British Blues. Hendrix. Clapton. Beck. Page. ZZ Top, too. Michael Bloomfield. SRV, but who isn't? I have a Marshall. I have pedals. And of course a Strat or 2 or 3 or 4... I use all that shit. Heavy hitting Blues, nothing polite. Shit that would make the Wolf howl and make Jimi smile. Not trying to put together a "gigging" band, mostly aiming at festival and opening act slots. Love jam nights too. Hell, the right drummer and bass player and I would pay them to go to jam. I got the rehearsal room covered. I got the song list. Pros looking for a side project would be cool, but I don't need pros. Just two guys who know and love the blues and like like to get out occasionally just to throw down. I got to have a bass and drums. Don't make me go out to sit in a chair with an acoustic and stomp my foot!
