Hi! We need 1-2 people to do some handyman / very light construction work, including: - Installing these bookshelves - Raising some wall-mounted computer monitors about 8 inches higher than they're currently mounted, with this: - hanging up some lights, running a wire for them, drilling a hole in the wall to run wire through, attaching a plug to the wire - hanging framed photos and paintings - cutting some wood (using a table saw, which we have), mounting to the wall and nailing some flooring to it (using an air-powered nail gun, which we have) - installing some film on windows Ideally, you are: - Either one person with 10-12 hours free during the day before the weekend OR two people with 6 hours free (at the same time) before the weekend. Needs to be daytime between 8am and 6pm. Ideally Weds/Thurs, but Fri is a possibility. - In or close to Venice - Good at building/assembling stuff - Ultra-meticulous / precise (e.g., for hanging photos, they gotta be lined up really neatly, with even spacing) - Super-responsible With your reply, please (for each person) attach (a) a resume and (b) a photo of yourself. (It's not that we care what you look like — we don't. But we've found that the photo people choose to send says more about them than anything else.) Also let us know (1) your specific availability and (2) why this is the sort of thing you're really good at. We have all the tools you'll need. $25 per hour per person, paid right away - on the spot, cash or Venmo.
