A construction company is seeking a Warehouse & Fleet Senior Manager who will effectively manage the warehouse and Fleet excels at using proven methods to streamline operations. The candidate must be an assertive and enthusiastic individual that can work the front line, clearly communicate with all levels and functions of the organization, as well as develop and implement improvements in warehouse processes and fleet management.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
Implementing operational policies and procedures.
Implementing and overseeing security operations.
Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
Ensuring the safety of staff.
Motivating and disciplining staff.
Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
Ensures company vehicles are in excellent working condition.
Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
Collaborate with Installation, Services and Accounting for process improvements.
Assisting with deliveries where required.
Other duties assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
5+ years of warehouse/ management experience.
Bachelors Degree a plus.
Experience with using inventory management software.
Proficient in MS Office and G-Suite.
Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
Valid Class C drivers' license.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment effectively.
Proficient computer skills.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong people skills.
Available to work extended hours.
Ability to handle physical workload (up to 70lbs unassisted)
