Mary's Woods, a premier senior living community located in Lake Oswego, has an opening for a Floor Care Technician who will bring their professional experience to Mary's Woods. As the Floor Care Technician, you will be cleaning and maintaining carpeted, tiled and wood floors while attending to any janitorial needs. You will daily be contributing to create a clean and beautiful community for residents and their guests to enjoy. You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents and families, and enjoy working on a team. We provide residents with over 100 years of history in a 40-acre wooded wonderland. We are a not-for-profit Life Plan/Continuing Care Retirement Community that prides ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring, welcoming culture, historic grounds and amazing views. Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful: Clean floors in residential units and common areas demonstrating proper floor cleaning techniques on both carpet and hard surfaces including waxing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spotting, and deep cleaning Cleans up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as directed. Ensures resident’s rooms are safe, comfortable, maintained in an attractive manner, and resident’s personal items are safeguarded. Maintain all cleaning equipment at an operator's level  Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to the Housekeeping Manager and/or Director of Environmental Services Education and Experience Required: Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED Working at Mary’s Woods in any capacity means that you’re driven by the core values of our mission -hospitality, compassion, reverence and integrity.
