This is a flexible side gig that allows you to make money with your truck, van, OR trailer, delivering beach wheelchairs in the evenings or mornings, whichever fits your schedule best. We are looking for independent contract drivers to deliver and pick up electric beach wheelchairs between the coastal region of Fort Walton - Santa Rosa Beach, with Destin and Miramar being the center of the delivery region. THE CONTRACTOR MUST USE THEIR OWN TRUCK OR CARGO VAN (OR TRAILER IF NO TRUCK) TO DO THESE DELIVERIES. HOW IT WORKS: We will offer you a set of deliveries (list of pick up hotels and list of deliver-to hotels) as needed, usually for the same evening or the following morning, which will come in the form of a text message. At that time, you can choose to accept or decline the delivery route. When you deliver a chair, it needs to be prepped and cleaned for the customer as described in the instructional video. Typically in the summer a route might be anywhere between 2 to 6 hours per night. You can borrow our ATV ramps to use during your route and then return to storage when you're done for the night. PAYMENT METHODS: Drivers track their own time and bill us. We pay electronically via Paypal or similar apps, usually within a day of the request. PAY RATE: $30/hr plus 50c/mile. Since you're driving your own truck, you just need to track your time and miles and bill us every 3 days approximately. For the first few, to build trust, contractors will be paid immediately following a delivery. HOURS OF THE DELIVERY OPERATION: We do the deliveries any time after 7PM if you prefer to do them in the evenings, or you could do them on the morning of the start date, any time before 10AM and this is why it's so flexible. The beach wheelchairs are used in daylight hours, and we deliver and pick them up outside of those hours.
