Mission for the Homeless needs a new van

Visit our "Donate" page to link to the van fundraiser: https://missionforthehomeless.org/donate We are fundraising to help Mission for the Homeless (MftH) replace their van, so they can get back on the road and continue ensuring their clients are safe, comfortable and housed. MftH a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit is a small team of volunteers who travel the East Bay, providing food, clothes, and medicine for people in need. We have also placed dozens of formerly unhoused individuals into permanent homes and visits them daily. We drive over 5,000 miles a month, and the van has over 256,000 miles on it. Lately it has been breaking down frequently, making it harder for us to do our work. The van is the lifeblood of MftH and without it we can’t provide the outreach we have been doing every day for the last 23 years. That includes administering insulin and other medication, providing food, tents, clothes and sleeping bags, taking some off the streets and to the hospital or finding them permanent housing, and getting social security and health benefits for those that qualify.
