I love music. I'm looking for some folks to start a band. I like a lot of styles, reggae, funk, punk, soul, thrash, metal, hiphop. Not a huge country fan, and I'm not too strong with jazz, but everything else is fair game to me. I just miss playing with folks. I'm a seasoned rhythm guitar player and I have been playing bass for a few years. I studied music in college so I have a pretty good grasp of music theory. I've been making and producing a lot of hip hop lately on my own and would love to find more local people to collaborate with. Nothing beats coming up with ideas in a band environment. I can sing and rap. I could front a band or I can be in the background. I'm just looking for like minding people with similar tastes. My big influences music wise are: The Police, Tool, Bob Marley, Sublime, Peter Tosh, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, People Under The Stairs, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Guitar Watson, Frank Zappa, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine, Fishbone, The Roots, The Beastie Boys, etc.. I love world music too anything that has some complex intricate rhythms. Not looking for Trumpers. We probably won't get along. I've made two anti Trump hiphop albums. So I'm not scared of doing something political, but I don't have to either. I'll provide links if you're interested. Thanks for reading.
