Guitar Teacher P/T - No Experience Necessary

You would follow pre-scripted lessons that introduce new players to the basics of playing guitar, and prep them to go into our regular classes. You would also assist our experienced teachers in teaching group classes for ages 4-94. The schedule is flexible, but you must be able to work on Wednesday nights (to train with the owner) at the start. We provide the following: - $18-20/hr based on experience. - Training on proven teaching methodologies you can use your entire career. - The opportunity to study guitar with our degreed musical director at no cost to you. - The chance to promote your music and shows to our students. We need you to provide these things: - An ability to play all open chords and barre chords. - An ability to name all the notes on the guitar neck. - A basic ability to improvise using the pentatonic scale. - While no music specific experience is needed, we do you need you to provide references from other employers and/or people you've worked with upon request. - Coolness. We like to have fun. - A pathological determination to never, ever, under any circumstances, be late for anything.
