New 60's New Orleans Soul themed band with some heavy hitters calling for funky, exciting drums to sub for our injured drummer, maximize gig opportunities and see what develops. Shows in the works, currently booking starting in July. Shows, not just gigs... We aim to give an authentic experience to crowds, not just entertainment. Great list of 60s NOLA Soul gems and similar vibe music to cover plus very solid original material (album+ already written) in the same vein. Big Ray Charles/Dr John influence. The crew spans 30s-50s We've got great tenor/bari sax and harp and are looking to add/mix and match horns for appropriate gigs and expand when possible. We are looking for enthusiastic, good dudes (or dudettes) with availability... Heart and Soul players only... Some sharp woodshedders looking to get back into the scene or with day jobs looking to dedicate to one main band are better than in-high-demand hired guns juggling 5 bands.
