Our neighbor gave us 3 chicks and one of them grew to be a rooster. We're rehoming because city ordinance says we can't have a rooster this close to town. It's a beautiful bird with black feathers that shimmer emerald-green with dark bronze accents. It is pretty skittish, not aggressive, in good health, and has started crowing. I'd rather that it goes to a good home than go somewhere to be killed.
