We are an innovative, industry leading marine manufacturing enterprise. Well established and have been in business for over 60 years with more than 110 employees today. We are currently seeking an experienced saw operator to work within our foam department. Within this position, you will be responsible to perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner to properly and safely load and unload sheets of foam on the CNC table, and operate the CNC Saw, tracing outlines that have been drawn onto the foam, with a focus on quality! Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am. to 4:00pm. Responsibilities: • Safely load and unload sheets of foam onto the CNC table • Perform regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on the machinery • Perform tool wear offsets to change to the overall tool length that is used when needed • Safely operate the CNC saw to cut specific outlines Requirements: • Attention to detail and complies with quality policies • Experience as a saw operator or similar experience • Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and standard practices of the trade • Ability to bend, stand and walk, throughout shift • Ability to push, lift, and pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift • Must be okay to work in manufacturing environments with exposure to dust, ink, vapors, solvents. • Must be okay with moderate noise levels • Close-up vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus is needed Pay range based on experience: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour We offer performance-based increase after your probationary period as well as performance reviews and great benefits.
