Bassist looking for dedicated, eclectic, alt-rock project

38 year old, professional bassist. (schooled, published, can read music, charts etc.) Pro gear / transportation. I'm looking to collaborate with some dedicated musicians - more specifically join a project. People who can commit to a regular rehearsal / writing schedule without having to check-in each week. People who are open to writing with others, but are regularly bringing ideas to work on or flesh out to keep things progressing. People who understand rehearsal is for rehearsing and not for practicing. People who will put time in on their own to working on the music. Not looking to go viral, or dedicate my life to the road, but occasional tours, and recording well thought out songs, while playing gigs that aren't forced feeling. Writing originals, but willing to play covers just to keep the chops up and have some fun with little intention for playing them out. Musical styles would be expansive, maybe a little progressive (but not in a Dream Theater way) with a nod to tradition and wearing influences on our sleeves. Artist like Beck, David Bowie, Ween, Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Neil Young, They Might Be Giants, Violent Femmes, Jane's Addiction, Elvis Costello, The Minutemen, Kurt Vile, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, etc. Weird one minute. Romantic the next. Aggressive the next.
