The YMCA of Northern Colorado is currently hiring for part time, year round Zamboni (our ice resurfacing machine is actually an Ice Bear) Drivers and Building Supervisors. We have multiple openings across evening and weekend shifts at our branch in Lafayette, Colorado. The Building Supervisor/Ice Maintenance Operator ensures facility safety for employees and patrons, keeps equipment and programs running and maintains our ice rink surface. So what will you do? Maintain a clean and safe facility at all times. Provide excellent customer service. Perform general/preventative maintenance tasks throughout our Y. Complete assigned ice, building and equipment maintenance while keeping accurate records for these services. Operate standard office equipment that includes computers, fax and copy machines, and telephones and maintenance and cleaning equipment that includes ice resurfacing and ice maintenance equipment, vacuums, mops, and any other equipment associated with use in a recreational facility. Requirements/Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repairs Proficient ability to use a variety of hand and power tools Valid driver's license and meet our MVR requirements. Ice resurfacing experience and ice maintenance experience preferred but not required Can Do attitude! Salary is $15/hour based on experience and certifications.
