We are looking for participants within the Philadelphia area to help with our Saliva and Mouth Behavior study! Would you be interested in helping us out? ELIGIBILITY: You are eligible for this study if you are at least 18 years old and reside in Philadelphia, PA. WHAT IT IS ABOUT: Our saliva and the way we manipulate foods in our mouths (i.e., mouth behavior) play a role in our food preferences, but the relationship between the two has not been studied. Our goal is to research how our saliva influences our mouth behavior during food consumption. WHAT YOU DO: You will be asked to complete two brief surveys on your own time (one will take about 10 min, another about 3 min). Additionally, you will provide a spit (saliva) sample. Saliva will be collected during a scheduled appointment at the Monell Chemical Senses Center (3508 Market Street). COMPENSATION: You will be paid a $25 Amazon gift card for your time.
