* Note: Covid-19 vaccination is required for this role* Sodexo Quality of Life Services is currently seeking a full time Janitor/Floor Technician to support a major pharmaceutical developer and manufacturer in Elkhorn, NE. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of proper and safe use of applicable custodial equipment and maintain high standards for work areas and appearance. Duties may include: • May perform hard‐surface floor scrubbing, stripping and refinishing, as well as carpet spotting and extraction, which require the use of mechanical equipment. • Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space. • Cleaning offices, restrooms, hallways and other common areas within the building. • Cleans light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, furniture, windows • Required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer and Sodexo standards. • Empties trash and garbage containers. • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualified applicants will have the following: • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience. • A minimum of 1 year of floor care experience, familiarity operating floor cleaning equipment (Floor scrubber, buffer, chariot, etc.) m • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, as well as the ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
