If you love Festivals Acadiens et Créoles as much as we do then you will love the Tour des Atakapas race! Celebrating our Cajun & Creole heritage is important to maintaining our culture in South Louisiana. The run is a joint coordinated project between T.R.A.I.L. and Festivals Acadiens et Créoles. The run raises money to invest back into the parks and recreational facilities in our community and Festival Acadiens et Créoles. Starting Times: BOAT DROP-OFF @ CAFE 20.3 - 6:30a-7:45a Duathlon - 7:55am 10K- 8am 5K-8:20am Awards & Post-event Fête/Partay: 9:45am at the Mon Heritage Stage (SEE GIRARD PARK MAP) We have a new beautiful. Thanks to the Azalea Trail & Preservation Alliance of Lafayette for helping us make our course more beautiful. Paddlers will have the option of doing the paddle solo or in tandem with a partner. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boards are all welcome. Registration for the race includes: Finishers’ Medal, Bib, Gift Certificates, Post-race meal & Beverage
