Owner and entrepreneur Candice Holloway is partnering up with us to welcome you into her restaurant-home, including a complimentary soul-food breakfast buffet, coffee, and juice (bar drinks for purchase). Soul Secrets started as an opportunity for her to connect with her teenage daughter who was dealing with depression. Candice began baking recipes her grandmother shared to connect with her daughter, as an opportunity for Candice to create a safe space for her to open up, as well as teach her recipes that had been passed down by my great-great grandmother. Food brings families closer, it’s a way to connect and share. Soul Secrets journey started at Findlay Kitchen with corporate catering. During this time they were able to grow and develop old family recipes and add a modern twist.
