Navy is hosting the MAISA Women's Singlehanded Conference Championship (Lasers) and the Shields Regatta (Navy 44s). The weather is usually great this time of year and there are no confliting events that weekend (Boat Show or home Football game). We'll gather at the Robert Crown Sailing Center at noon to catch the afternoon action. There will be limited slots to spectate on the water, this is a no-cost add-on to your ticket reservation (please register soon!). We will have an afternoon reception on the Sailing Center upper deck for those staying ashore before we move across the water in the evening to the Rettelle room at Naval Station Annapolis where Mission BBQ and beverages will be served. Each General Admission ticket holder will receive dinner and two drink tickets (beer and/or wine). Tentative Schedule: 1200: Registration check-in at the Robert Crown Sailing Center 1300: Registered on-the-water spectators get underway; shoreside reception opens on the upper deck 1600: On-the-water spectators return, deck reception wraps up 1800: Rettelle Room venue opens (Naval Station Annapolis), BBQ and drinks served 2100: Event conclusion ALL Friends of Navy Sailing are welcome: alumni, parents, sponsors, volunteers, donors, friends, and fans.
