In this workshop, participants will learn how to use low cost and low tech methods to easily start growing gourmet mushrooms in indoor and outdoor gardens. We will cover two methods of mushroom cultivation: how to grow oyster mushrooms in bags using straw, coffee grounds, and similar low cost materials; and how to grow wine cap mushrooms in raised garden beds using wood chips. Participants will leave with a small supply of oyster mushroom spawn to start their own growing projects, while supplies last.
