Are you an outgoing person who loves being surrounded by good food? About Us: Founded in 2017, Obour Foods is a small, San Francisco-based producer of gourmet hummus, tahini, and pita chips. We currently operate in 14 farmers' markets around the Bay Area as well as our flagship brick & mortar retail location at the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace. Many say our hummus is the best they’ve ever had. We’re inclined to agree. We are looking for a new team member to help sell our products at our Ferry Building retail location. Pay includes all of the below: - $19/hour + tips - Tips through Square POS - Hummus - Generous trade policy with other vendors Hours & Location: - Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays 8:45am - 4:15pm. - Ferry Building in San Francisco * The ideal candidate can work all 5 days but it's not absolutely necessary. Job Duties: - Opening: Organize space and set-up merchandise displays - Educate customers about our products and what makes Obour so special. - Provide samples in a safe and sanitary manner - Take payments at retail POS - Keep space clean and organized - Closing: Close shop, take inventory, cash management, break down merchandise displays at end of day What we're looking for: - You have a good work ethic (dependability and punctuality is a must) and have consistent availability - You're not shy, and you're capable of being friendly & engaging with strangers for up to 6 hours straight - You can stand for long periods of time and can wear a mask for the entire duration of your shift Please email a resume and short description of yourself with the subject line “Ferry Building Salesperson” to [email protected] to get the ball rolling.
