Findelton Winery, located in the Sierra Foothills just east of Sacramento, California. Overlooking the sheer American River Canyon below, the steeply terraced vineyard is located near the edge of El Dorado National Forest at 2,400 feet elevation in an area the locals know as "Mosquito" in California's "Mother Lode" gold country which is just a short drive east of the state capital of Sacramento . The Findleton family is a wonderful family of artist, foodies and yes, wine makers. Tom , the Patriarch has share wonderful stories and awesome wines with me and I want to share that with you here in east Texas.
