We are looking for non-profits, youth groups, religious organizations to partner with along with parents and all supporters to help us supply our youth with the tools needed to start the new school year off stress-free. On August 6, 2022, at Chesapeake City Park we will be having a community event were individuals and businesses can drop off school supplies. Once we have gathered the supplies we are asking/looking for volunteers to help package the supplies so that we can pass them out on August 26. On August 26 we will be giving away those items donated to the kids of the O Lord Youth Mentoring program, your youth group or organization as well as other kids in the community. This is a great opportunity for your business/organization to be advertised and impact tidewater area before the school year. With your support we can make a difference in the lives of young kids in the 757.
This event is Free to the public, all we ask is for anyone coming out to bring something from the list provided. We will be having hot dogs, beverages and chips as a thank you to all who comes out to support our youth.
