WHAT IS IT? Volunteer with the North Texas Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI) as we host our annual Girls in Aviation Day, a FREE program for girls ages 8 to 18 designed to introduce them to the possibilities available in a career in aviation. Engineers, Air Traffic Controllers, Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Flight Attendants, Airport Managers, Aircraft Sales Professionals, Aviation Finance and Insurance Professionals, Aviation Business Owners, Astronauts, Dispatchers & Schedulers, and more. As an aviation professional in the area, ladies, the next generation needs to SEE you so they know they can BE you! WHEN IS IT? The event is September 24th, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m for attendees, but we'll need help from our volunteer army from 8am-3pm. Lunch will be provided for volunteers! WHERE IS IT? The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) National Aviation Education Center at Dallas Executive Airport. We'll have special parking available just for volunteers.
