We are currently looking for someone to clean and detail our fleet of charter yachts. The successful applicant is someone who is detail-oriented when it comes to caring for boats. They may have had experience in cleaning homes or detailing cars; however, they MUST have knowledge of boats and boating terms. This candidate must also be well-organized and able to keep track of a busy schedule that is always changing. We manage and charter a fleet of sail and power yachts. We will train them on all of the individual vessels in our fleet and how they need to be cleaned.. This job is not just for cleaning the interior of boats. Candidates should have experience with exterior detailing including cleaning stainless rails, cleaning boat canvas, detailing boat fenders, cleaning teak and more. This person must be flexible in scheduling and have excellent customer service skills. The job does require weekend work. We are generally busy around Holidays, but we are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Days. However, the weeks before and after those days are busy. This is not a minimum wage job. Pay is commensurate with experience. If this person has other detailing skills such as painting and varnishing, the pay may be higher. We are looking to fill this position within the next 2 weeks; however, we will wait longer in order to hire the most qualified candidate. We are a nearly 40-year-old company and a leader in the US yacht charter market. We are located at a high-end marina resort in Cape Coral. Company shirts are supplied at no charge to the employee. We are looking for someone with a great attitude who wants to grow and possibly take on additional responsibilities. This position is for someone with the goal of long-term employment. Employees with a good work ethic and positive attitude will be rewarded by our company. Employees are given the responsibility for arriving to work on time and getting the work done that needs to be done to meet the demands of the overall schedule. We are looking for someone who is mature and can take on additional responsibility without constant supervision. There is the opportunity for growth into a Supervisor's position.
