Course Overview: As part of the $120M statewide initiative to electrify buildings ( ) this is a Project Based Learning training, where Participants will learn building electrification (space heating/cooling and water heating) best practices while participating on actual paid projects. Session 1: Residential Building Electrification Overview Session 2: Heat Pump HVAC & Heat Pump Water Heater Fundamentals Session 3: Heat Pump Installation Best Practices ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Eligibility: Must be 18 or olderMust attend in person demo installation training to receive TECH certificateFamiliarity with residential HVAC, plumbing, or general contracting experience is preferred. TECH California is a $120+ million statewide program to support building electrification and local minority contractors. In partnership with local partners such as PG&E, East Bay Community Energy, BayREN, the Cypress Mandela Training Center and others, Revalue.io is providing a project based training opportunity for local contractors to learn building electrification on actual real world local projects. The goal is to prepare local contractors for the pipeline of several thousand residential retrofit projects being funded over the next several years.
