Whether you're a writer, business owner, or all-around story enthusiast, this workshop will give you opportutunities to practice telling your stories while giving you tips on how to communicate them more effectively. Learn more about us at: allthingsnarrative.com About the Instructor : Derrick Hatch has dedicated the last 12 years to working with adults and youth in community workshops, afterschool programs, recovery groups, non-profits, youth ministries, and churches. His diverse background is reflected in his education, possessing a Masters of Narrative Therapy and Community Work from the University of Melbourne in Australia (in partnership with the Dulwich Centre), and a Bachelor of Ministry degree from the Antioch School in America. In 2018, he received the “Next Generation of Leaders” Award from the National Afterschool Association for his contributions to afterschool education. In 2020, he received the “Beyond the Call of Duty” Award from Prime Time Palm Beach County for creating environments where youth developed positive social and emotional skills. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing drums, volunteering with Jeffro's Heroes (as a Spider-Man cosplayer), hosting the All Things Narrative Podcast, and spending time with his wife and kids.
