Come out for a rooftop event at Lancaster City’s Tellus360 and help us Raise the Roof! Network, enjoy an outdoor happy hour with hors d’oeuvres and help us celebrate our collaborative impact with Raise the Roof: Horizon’s current campaign to expand and upgrade housing to bring more children into our care. With established care centers for these children, what we call micro communities, in Kenya, Guatemala and Honduras, Horizon is currently home to more than 180 children and youths. These communities are at capacity, but there are still more children waiting to become part of the Horizon family. Raise the Roof is a unique campaign to pave the way for more homes, furnishings and caregivers to bring more kids into our care. We are actively pursuing partnerships with local companies and individuals to Raise the Roof, quite literally, as these funds will directly support: New housing construction Caregiver and Social Worker SupportTransitory rental housing Additional furniture and beds Household appliances Housewares and linens We'll see you on the Roof!
