Contractor states THE MOST IMPORTANT LINE BE RESPONSIBLE NEED TO SHOW UP I own my own business and 2 college age kids that work for me occasionally called last Sunday looking for work. I had a footing job on the back burner, so I moved it up knowing I had laborers available. I filled my van with 8 sonatube and 32 bags of concrete. Mind you I’m just getting back to work after a painful battle with Cancer.. These two guys never showed up. No phone call, no text, no nothing. We all blew off work at some point in our lives BUT always made the needed phone call. Never seen workers as Irresponsible as I’m seeing the past couple of years. At 62 I’m not thrilled to be digging footings but when I make a commitment I follow through. Let’s hope whoever responds to Stoughton ad, reads and understands what “Showing Up” means. That’s the first step in being a good worker and I wish more people understood that.
