Located on the north side of Chicago, we have an event venue that, on a regular basis, needs help getting ready for events, as well as help with occasional odd jobs. This could be a nice opportunity for someone with a freelance lifestyle, such as a waiter, caterer, writer, or actor, etc. who likes to organize and make things tidy, doesn't mind getting a bit dirty, and enjoys working in a positive, supportive environment. Weekly duties (typically Daytime on Friday, Saturday or Sunday) include: - Moving furniture - Setting Up Tents - Wiping Down Patio Furniture - Remove Trash/Debris from Grounds - Sweeping Inside and Outside Odd Jobs (as needed) may include: - Build Shelves - Touch-Up Painting - Replace Light Bulbs - Pick Up Rentals in our Van - Shovel Snow Requirements are: - Ability to work Fridays and Weekends (daytime) on a regular basis - Interest in doing cleaning/set up tasks - Ability/Interest in doing maintenance and light construction chores - Ability to carry equipment weighing 75lbs up a flight of stairs - Ability to work on a 10ft. tall ladder - Is obsessive about getting the little details right - Friendly, Upbeat Personality (we are a negative-free zone) - Good Communicator Who Listens Well and Expresses with Clarity Please reply to this post letting us know: - Your interest in doing this work - How your skill set would match our needs - Your experience doing similar work - Your flexibility with the hours on the days mentioned - Anything else you'd like us to know Thanks.
