Maintenance Technician Full-Time, Day Shift Kramer Homes Center Line, MI Kramer Homes Co-Operative, one of the largest housing co-operatives in Michigan, is looking for a Maintenance Technician. Kramer is a unique non-profit organization with a rich history in the Center Line community. Kramer Homes is owned by its 500 members and is operated for the members’ benefit. The Maintenance Technician works Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm and is responsible for providing general and preventive maintenance, unit readiness, and construction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Completes daily work orders and assists with emergencies as needed to ensure timely customer service. Prepares vacant units for new residents by painting, cleaning, and providing general updates. Repairs and replaces appliances, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems. Performs preventative maintenance to ensure preservation of the property. Identifies risks and corrects hazardous community conditions. Maintains property grounds through daily inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and preventative care to keep the building looking well-kept and welcoming. Complies with all established safety standards and instructions while working to avoid accidents and injuries. Maintains accurate documentation of all work orders, supplies, and preventive maintenance activities for reporting. Performs on-call duties as part of a rotation Qualifications: 3+ years of related property maintenance experience Skilled in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
