Computer and technology warehouse looking for dept supervisors. Apply online at PRIMARY WAREHOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling, Cleaning) Stage finished product for loading Load finished product onto truck Unload raw materials from truck Move raw materials to warehouse storage Attend off-site pickups as assigned Test, sort, dismantle, and process inventory Responsible for quality control of company product Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) Operate forklifts and company vehicles as assigned (upon approval) Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift, and company vehicles Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use Check in equipment received in warehouse according to company procedure Adhere to all company policies and procedures Other general warehouse duties as assigned PRIMARY SUPERVISOR DUTIES Report directly to management staff Communicate & Implement change as directed Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policy Organize all activities & assign jobs accordingly for staff Setup layout & space management of warehouse and surroundings Train & develop warehouse staff through internal/on-the-job training Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices, including new employee inductions Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for efficient and effective warehouse operations Adhere to management daily checklists and logs Administer all company policies and procedures Other warehouse management duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent Manual dexterity required for operating machinery. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required 3 years general warehouse experience Willingness for background check and drug screening WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 75 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, etc. No Phone Calls Walk in Applications Accepted
