Furniture/Appliance Installer & Driver We are looking for experienced drivers to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. A CDL is not required, but experience with 26ft box trucks is a must. This is a local position covering the Quad Cities (150 mile radius). This position requires you to be able to deliver, assemble, and install large household Appliances/Electronics (Dishwashers, Washers, Dryers, Ovens, Ranges, Cooktops, Microwaves, Plasma, LCD, LED Televisions), as well as handling them properly. Main Responsibilities: Transport home goods and furnishings to a variety of destinations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues. Able to perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving. Retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and. procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents, or violations* Key Requirements: Truck/Delivery Driver experience. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc). Ability to Install all appliance and furniture. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. No recent moving or driving violations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations. Valid license. Valid DOT/Medical Certification. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day
