This is your opportunity to join a fast growing startup and lead a team of people in the Furniture & Staging Field! You will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse. You will also be responsible for managing delivery teams and ensuring each customer delivery is successful. - Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities such as receiving, unpacking, packing, and loading of materials - Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers -Establish warehouse standards and procedures to improve quality and operational efficiency -Reviewing outgoing customer orders for quality and accuracy -Maintaining accurate inventory records in Inhabitr system -Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations - Other duties as assigned Additional Requirements: - Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. - Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. - Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. - Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. - Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds Qualifications: -Previous experience as a warehouse manager or related position. -Working knowledge of warehouse operations (inventory control, methods of receiving & inspecting goods, space utilization techniques etc..) -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment -Strong communication and interpersonal skills using tact and patience -Capacity to lead and motivate your team to complete delegated tasks -High school diploma or GED required.
