We need to rehome our dog Shadow, a husky who is about 15 months old. He is very lovable, playful and friendly. He has had his vaccines, is healthy and was recently checked out at our vet. He gets along with our other dog (female), is great with kids and loves treats. He hasn’t been socialized with very many dogs/people and is uncertain of new surroundings. He is hard of hearing and needs someone who is willing to appropriately train him. He is motivated well with treats and eager to please when in close proximity/lower stimulation environments. He does follow along well with other dogs, so might do well with another well behaved dog. He needs space to run, areas to dig, likes to chase rabbits, squirrels, cats, etc. He does like to escape so a secure enclosure is important. He is an intact male but I am willing to neuter him if that is preferred. His genetics would not be advisable for breeding. We rescued him when he was about 6 months old and the primary reason we need to rehome him is he has discovered a taste for chickens and has killed many in our flock.
