Automotive Master Mechanic Job Description Essential Functions: • Must be able to handle various mechanical and electrical checks on vehicles • Replace parts as needed such as belts, lamps, tires, starters, batteries, etc. • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all fleet vehicles. • Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work performed, when needed • Overhaul or replace carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters and pumps. • Perform work as assigned by Management Required Skills • Must have 10 plus years of experience • Excellent communication skills • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Occasional O.T. as needed • The ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends. • HS Diploma or GED, must have a valid driver’s license with clean record • Need to be able to drive stick shift as well as automatic • Must have own tools PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Constantly move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift • Standing and kneeling for extended period of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift Pay range is $25 - $32 an hour to start with a pay raise after 90-day probation period Located in North Hollywood, CA This is a full- time position with benefits.
