Description
DOB August 2021 - 32lbs - Fully vaccinated - Neutered Crate and leash trained - Fully housebroken Great with all dogs, cats, and people of all ages This handsome guy showed up last winter as a skinny, exhausted stray of four months old. I already have a very old senior dog, which is why I'm ultimately rehoming this wonderful boy. He's fantastic but my senior dog is struggling to keep up and making himself worse, so rehoming is a must in order to prolong quality of life for my old fellow. He has one eye ice blue and the other honey brown and people often remark how cool he looks (I think it's gone to his head). He has an awesome personality and is naturally good tempered. He's a perfect companion for camping, road trips (he does excellent in a car, even for several hours), park visits, hikes and other outdoor activity. He's not given to incessant barking and walks well on leash, with the little tips of his ears bouncing as he walks. So cute! I made sure to socialize him so he made positive associations with people, children, dogs, cats, the vet, grooming, baths, and being handled. As a result, he's a chill little guy who's not bothered by anything. He's genuinely a friendly dog who isn't nervous about new things, people or places. So far he's lived with just me and my dog and he's outstanding company and adjusted well to being a dedicated solo companion, but he also does well in a larger family, including with other animals. He likes to be in the company of his people and chooses to stay nearby. He's affectionate and will lean against you or literally fling himself dramatically across you like Rose on her door, accepting many pets for all his hard work existing. He's athletic with good energy, so a fenced in yard or long lead which allows him to run with children or other dogs and play chase is great. If not, he's also happy to play indoors with chew toys and bones or with his people. This little pup means the world to me and it breaks my heart to rehome him but I owe it to my white-faced older dog who, after fourteen years, deserves to live out his twilight years in comfort. This dog appeared in my life during a particularly difficult time and brought so much joy, love and laughter, and I accept my role has been to get him healthy, show him love, teach him to behave and in all ways prepare him for the family he's meant for forever. I ask anyone interested to simply meet his basic needs, including a stable home, the ability and willingness to ensure he's given routine vet care, and keeping him indoors - warm, dry, fed, clean, and loved - as a member of your family. I'm trying to find someone who understands what a devoted friend and unconditionally loving companion a dog can be, so if that's you, please reach out! Thank you
