OPPORTUNITY FOR PAINTER Trademark Visual is seeking a qualified Painter to complement our team. Trademark Visual is a leading design/build producer of architectural, commercial and electric signs. Our manufacturing facility is fully equipped to fabricate nearly any sign imaginable, from small apartment unit numbers to 85’ tall freeway pylon signs. Additionally, we employ a full complement of wide format digital printing equipment including UV and latex printers. Our Field Services team is well equipped to service and install any sign we make. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES • 2 years painting experience. • Experience painting all types and sizes of materials & surfaces, including flat & curved. • Versatile with various paint techniques and special effects. • Experience, priming, sanding & resurfacing. • Experience with fixing minor paint repairs. • Knowledge of and ability to mix and match paint. • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Team oriented in a fast-paced environment. • Dependable, self-motivated and organized. • Ability to maintain a clean working environment. • Ability read, understand and follow work order instructions in English. • Ability to communicate and in writing with proficiency in English. • The knowledge, skills and abilities required to fulfill the following duties: REQUIRED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Paint surfaces, using spray gun. • Also, on occasion, ability to use brushes or paint rollers and apply paint with cloth, brush, sponge, or finger to create special effects. • Priming, sanding & resurfacing all types of surfaces. (Aluminum, steel, wood, stucco, etc.) • Working with materials as large as stadium size signs. • Mixing and matching paint. • Correct work as directed; repair nicks, scratches or other small imperfections in the finish. • Ability to move or carry (with assistance) large or heavy materials. • Maintain paint equipment (spray guns, booths, etc). • Meet deadlines and maintain an organized schedule. • Properly prepare all necessary paperwork and job logs. • Maintain OSHA standards and ensure air quality. • Must maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment. • Other duties as assigned.
