Description
I have two 13 month old sister chickens I would like to rehome.
They lay beautiful olive/dark brown, sometimes spotted eggs.
They are an unknown crossbreed that was bred to create these beautiful eggs.
Their names are Lavern and Shirley. They are a little bit more on the shy/easily spooked/flighty side than the rest of my flock.
I would like to find a good home for them because more recently, Lavern went broody and sits on eggs most of the day. I have no rooster. When she comes out to eat and drink, my other chickens had started to attack her. My guess is because she started making these guttural, strange sounds which provoke my other birds into picking at her. So I currently have her quarantined so she stays safe. Her sister, Shirley, does not pick at her (she gets picked at too, because she is higher strung than the others, and she relentlessly picks at one of my more timid birds) and I would like for them to go together to create more balance in my flock. Lavern is a grayish/black Andalusian colored and Shirley is all black. Both are currently missing some feathers at the base of their back, and Lavern is also missing bum feathers. When all feathers are in, they are stunningly beautiful. They have lots of egg laying days in their future.
I am asking a $30 rehoming fee to ensure a good home.
