A Busy Mexican restaurant in TriBeCa is in search of a couple of reliable, punctual, and consistently hard working individuals to fill full time dishwasher positions. Dishwashers unload the cutlery and dishes brought to the kitchen by Bussers while loading and organizing them into trays for the washer. Some items require handwashing or a combination of both hand and machine washing. In addition, you will -Take all garbage and recycling to appropriate area out side of the restaurant during the appropriate window -Sweep and mop work station and kitchen are throughout and at the end of each shift -Occasionally check bathrooms for cleanliness -During slower off peak times you will be asked to clean work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors -Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine -Properly running the dish machine with the appropriate detergent, rinse-aid and sanitizer. as well as checking it every shift with a PH strip to ensure proper sanitizer levels. -Work weekends including Sunday *If you only have part-time availability *Paid Time Off *401K Available
