Repair major appliances and kitchen equipment. Submit service requests to appropriate vendors. Obtain bids for purchases or projects. Provide labor for transporting furniture and equipment. Update work logs for specific site requirements. Respond to maintenance urgencies during and after regular work hours. Your qualifications: Knowledge of basic maintenance including carpentry, heating and air conditioning, plumbing, glass replacement, painting, masonry, grounds keeping, appliance repair, and minor electrical repair. Must be capable of using maintenance tools including electrical and gasoline power tools. Able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions. Must possess general knowledge of building codes and basic math skills, have adequate experience with computer technology, such as working on desktop computers and mobile devices, have a valid driver’s license and acceptable/insurable driving record, and ability to operate a motor vehicle to safely transport tools and materials. Your education and/or experience: Five years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. OSHA 10-Hour Training and Certificate of Completion or willing to acquire. Physical demands: Able to work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces or attics, or overhead such as on ladders.
