Charlie is one of the kitties that we took in from a ladies house in Hudson when she went into a nursing home. It took him about 2 months to stop hiding in the bathtub and start acting "normal". He is a really sweet boy, loves to be pet, and get in laps. The photos I've gotten don't really show how good looking he is. His markings are distinct, his color is even. kinda a black and brown. Love those eyes, he can look so serious. We have taken him to Tractor Supply and he is so terrified he just shuts down, so I am reluctant to take him again. Charlie is fully Vetted, we gave him a new rabies vaccine and tested him for Leukemia and FIV (both negative) when we got him. He is an indoor only cat. He gets on well with other cats. Since we don't know his full background we would prefer he not go into a home with younger children. Or into a house that is "Loud". But I don't think he needs only older adults like he has now and had before. Adoptions are slow right now, so for July and August we will waive the usual $50.00 charge for a fully vetted male cat. This boy is living with one other cat in a bath room (good sized) and would love the run of a house with a person around to be his friend. We are thinking that he is 3 or 4 years old, but it is really hard to tell and we got no paperwork with him. Preference will be given to good people who live within the area so I can deliver him to you. An approved application is required with an interview.
