Description
Hi! A few months ago I bought 4 society finches from a pet store. I have since found out that myself and a family member are allergic. I am hoping to remove them to a new family that can appreciate them without having to deal with any health effects.
They are all less than 6 months old. Based on their behaviors, I believe I have 2 males and 2 females. They are very bonded (a trait of finches) and must be rehomed together.
Finches make great pet birds for people who don't need a very hands-on pet, they don't enjoy being handled but are very fun to watch and provide pretty songs and chatter throughout they day without being very loud.
I currently have them living in a large wire cage (it is actually an enclosure I used for my pet rats many years ago!). I am happy to give away the cage too, if one is needed. Although finches are small, they like a lot of room to fly and the bigger the better. If you have a suitable bird cage then I will keep mine. They will also come with various perches and dishes. Rehoming fee is VERY negotiable, I'm not trying to make money, just find a home for these babies!
