After the screening listen to personal stories from people who have been impacted by Ohio’s prison system and share your own story in our custom Story Share booth. There will also be a Q&A panel discussion with director Kailah Ware. The film, Innocent is a short form documentary that takes a deep dive into the racial disparities and injustices that are happening on Ohio’s Death Row. The film looks into the case of Derrick Jamison and Shawn Hawkins, both Black men who were sentenced to death in Hamilton County in the late 80's. Innocent takes a look into how the system continues to get it wrong.
