Rehoming 1 yr old beagle

This dude is just over a year, neutered, up to date on all things health wise. He is a high energy dog, absolutely loves attention, running, and kids, (mine play pretty crazy with him). He must have a large enclosed area he can run in, and another dog to play with! When we got him he was our neighbour's puppy, and he had their 3 dogs to run and play with daily. Suddenly those dogs got rehomed a few months ago, and he has been struggling since. We don't have an appropriate fenced area, and he's started to wander, but always comes if I beep his training collar. But he's started wandering across the road, which is obviously unsafe, but has also started some territorial issues with bikers/joggers. (Runs and barks at them, he has never bit anyone) Before his pals left, he never had an issue. He's clever, with some training he could be a great little hunting dog, fully potty trained, not food aggressive or anything like that. No health issues. He's just a high energy pup that needs another dog and more time and energy than we've been able to give him. He's a loved dog, and we're looking for the right home, not just the fastest.
