This is a children's story time event at BookTowne. We will be hosting a summer story time reading in the court yard behind the store featuring NETTIE THE HEDGEHOG and her human JULIE. MISS JAN will be reading hedgehog-themed stories for children. Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Is this a real live hedgehog? A: Yes! Nettie is very real, and while she may be prickly on the outside she has a soft and cuddly personality! Q: What age is welcome at this story time? A: Any and every hedgehog lover is welcome at this storytime! We will be reading stories geared towards 1-6 years old... but no matter your age, you are welcome! Q: Will Nettie sign my hedgehog book? A: Nettie unfortunately does not have opposable thumbs, and cannot hold a pen or pencil to sign books with. However she will be available for non-flash photography, and Kira would be more than happy to draw a silly picture of you and Nettie for you to keep!
