We eat and sleep to sustain our health, exercise to look and feel better, read or study to stimulate the mind. The activity of our life is much like a piece of music. If it’s all activity, it's just noise. When we integrate "rests" into the music, it becomes a dynamic beautiful expression. Chan allows us to find the sync between activity and inactivity, form and formless, to allow our life experience to be beautiful and fulfilling expression of life. Heart Chan meditation center is offering an 8-week “Introduction to Chan Meditation“ series every Saturday starting 7/9, 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. This series will introduce the fundamental concepts and techniques of Heart Chan meditation in a systematic and easy-to-understand way, including, but not limited to: Step-by-step meditation instructionsFundamental teachings of Chan MeditationIntegration of body, mind and spirit in everyday lifeThe classes are open to everyone and free of charge, though donations are always welcome! You are more than welcome to invite your friends and or family to come to the class with you. If you're interested, we highly recommend that you join us within the first four sessions! CLASS DATES: Every Saturday, 7/9 - 8/27 CLASS TIME: 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
