About us: Acme Fire Extinguisher Co. has been a staple of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties since 1941, providing fire extinguisher protection and consultation services in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. We provide the best fire extinguisher services in the area! We are a Type A Concern license testing facility operating in Oakland California, near the Fruitvale Bart station. We operate 8:30-5:00 M-F. The business has been passed down from father to son and has been running since 1941. We are currently looking for a Fire extinguisher technician to join our team. College students welcome. Starting pay will be $20/hr for this position. Job duties: Misc. Wharehouse Duties Inspect maintain and test Fire extinguishers Fill gas cylinders Operate Forklift Maintain shop equipment Keep records of work completed Desired experience and qualifications: Drivers lic. Preferred, with a clean driving record. Ability to do basic math. Must be able to stand for a long duration of time. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted. Be able to work with a team.
