Serious inquiries only. Prone to Mischief is looking for solid players that can read and have fun on the street and that want to play regular day gigs. Gig times are Sat/Sun maybe a Friday early PM. Looking for like-minded, enthusiastic folks - all ages - for Prone to Mischief. We are a self sustaining, gigging, street band composed of all ages and musicians on horns and drums. We also are open to strings, hand percussion gurus, twirlers and dancers. We are a well established and an active street band open to new musicians for the remaining 2022 season. The band continues to grow and continues to bring music to events, celebrations, and local venues. The music is wide ranging from world music to pop culture and everything in between. We are well organized, happy people, and electronically savvy with a Facebook Page and band roster/gig site called Gig-o-matic, and a google drive for sheet music. We rove, play and drum with vigor. We look for enthusiastic musicians, some background in music needed. You need your own equipment. You need to attend rehearsals and gigs with some regularity. That means you attend, more than you miss. You will have fun, we always do. Is this you? Give me a shout. We can get you playing, quickly raising your level of playing and improv ability is a plus.
