Bass, Please.

Time to renew my semi-annual plea for a musical sidekick. The last three have disappeared under suspicious circumstances. All I'm looking for is a bass player who sings a little and has some sort of personality. The rest sorts itself out. I'm old and achy. Somewhere on the scruffy side, but not gruff. I play guitar and used to usually be the only singer, but I'm more than happy to share the mic these days. As far as covers go, I'd probably call out some Dylan, Dead, Stones, Beatles, Leon Russell, Willie, Merle, Johnny Cash, Ry Cooder, Taj Mahal, Asleep at the Wheel, the blues guys, Clapton... that sort of stuff. Very non-aggressive. I'm also into digital recording. So, we could always get something done when we get together. I'm not big on freeway driving, so only reply if you live in the Agoura/Las Virgenes/Conejo Valleys. And, please tell me what you can about your playing, availability and anything that would save me having to ask.
